Holiday Inn Express & Suites

The Kleingers Group performed survey and site development engineering and landscape architecture services for this 65,000 SF new, modern, eco-friendly four-story hotel. The new hotel includes 111 guest rooms, an indoor pool and spa, a fitness center, 1,200 SF of meeting space, and a business center. Energy efficiency and green building design were significant components of the project. Solar panels on the roof support water heating, an energy wheel conserves heating and cooling energy, and an energy management system maximizes energy savings. Kleingers used insulated Concrete Forms (ICF) for the exterior walls to improve insulation well above standard commercial standards in the hotel industry.

Our team prepared a site location plan of the building, access roads/driveways, parking surfaces, service driveways, plazas, sidewalks, and door pads; a site utility plan showing sanitary sewer, waterline, and storm sewer design; and a site grading plan. Kleingers prepared landscape design plans, including project parking lot landscaping, common open space landscaping, foundation plantings, buffer plantings, and screening.
