With 150 employees in seven cities, The Kleingers Group is among the most respected names in surveying, civil engineering, transportation engineering, landscape architecture, and 3D laser scanning.

In 2018, Kleingers celebrated 25 years by taking the entire company and loved ones to Nashville for the weekend.

Expansion continued with a move into Kentucky in 2017. Kleingers opened a fourth office, planting its feet in Louisville.

In 2013, 20 years after its founding, Kleingers & Associates rebranded as The Kleingers Group to reflect the growing diversity of services it offers and the growing number of employees, adding depth to the company.

Two unique niches were created in 2011 as part of Kleingers & Associates’ offerings: Truescan3d and Sportworks Field Design.

Eight years after opening, Kleingers second-largest office outgrew its walls and relocated in 2008 to a larger space in the booming Polaris area on the north side of Columbus.

In 2008, Kleingers began offering municipal engineering services and was hired as Deer Park’s City Engineer.

One year later, Kleingers branched into landscape architecture.

After years of steady growth providing site/civil engineering and land survey services, Kleingers began expanding its offerings in 2003 with the addition of Transportation Engineering services.

Entering 2000, Kleingers opened a Columbus Office to serve the Central Ohio region better.

One year later, Kleingers began using GPS equipment, providing measurement accuracy within 1/16 inch.

Following years of directing clients to “the second basement past the dumpster (you can’t miss it),” Kleingers moved out of the basement office and into its first-story digs in 1998.

The Kleingers Group story began in 1993 when Jim Kleingers bought the interest of RW Consultants’ West Chester, Ohio branch. RW was a civil engineering and land surveying firm based in nearby Middletown, Ohio. With five employees, including Jim, a new company started as Kleingers & Associates. They focused on serving clients and helping transform communities during phenomenal growth in West Chester and neighboring Liberty Township.
