Home2 Suites by Hilton Extended Stay Hotel

The Kliengers Group provided survey and civil engineering services for this new 80,500 SF, four-story, 129-room Home2 Suites hotel and associated parking lot. This 2.5-acre site is part of a multi-use development that brings apartments, retail, a hotel, conference center, grocery store, restaurants, and office space to the east of Riverside Drive in the Bridge Street District of Dublin.

Kleingers initially prepared a site demolition plan in a previously developed commercial structure that included cutting, filling, and establishing dirt pads. Throughout the design, we worked closely with the City of Dublin and the City of Columbus as the site utilities were located in a shared utility service area. Due to the size constraint of the site, Kleingers provided municipal engineering expertise and designed an underground stormwater management system that included both stormwater quality and quantity. Our engineers abandoned the existing water, and crews installed sanitary services and new services per the city’s requirements. The sanitary service was directionally bored across the road for minimal disruption to the existing roadway. Kleingers prepared all plans for Home2 Suites according to the City of Dublin requirements.
